I am pretty shure that we all are going to be agree afirming this is an image of a village in a poor country. We can see they all have that face of angry and they have right to be in that way, life have put a lot of test in their lifes, but even with that in mind is notable that they know there is only one way to go when you are in that road: Work hard!! We can see all the stores, the people with that "thing" in their heads selling water and maybe food. I did not see anybody asking for money, they know they have to survive by themself and thats a good thing to think about. Of course, I am not saying they don't need help, they actually need it to finish been a poor town, they need rich people to invest there to create jobs, people who buy what they sell and people who give them a chance and not discriminate them for not having anything because how they are going to have if people with the opportunity to help don't do it?
ReplyDeleteIn this picture I can appreciate what is happening in this time, poor people working for a better life, see structures that looks like poor buildings and a lot of people around, in the place which they sell everything like ( vegetables ,rice, water ,toys..).It is like a market with a lot of African people, they are tired, worry because of their lives, trying to get a better opportunity working on what they know, because as we know African people don’t have much education. It also can make us reflect about how well we are, comparing these people. This is also, the reality on our Latin’s Countries, the sacrifice that our people have to do working on thing that analyzing don’t give us stability, but a good thing that I can see in this picture is the desire we have to work. Watching the way they live with a lot of work, surviving to this world that apparently has not smiled at them, is an idea that we can take for help needed people around.
ReplyDeleteIn this photograph of Negerian people by National Geographic we can appreciate a typical street market from The Lagos city. This market shows a lot of workers trying to sell stuff to make a living. In the other hand, it seems that they have a lot of manufacture to sell so I can tell that the economics in that city is not that bad like the rest of Africa that have problematics such as hunger, misery and war. In addition, this photograph expresses a motive to work hard and to never look back, because even if only you have so little you can do so much more with dedication. Finally, this city is full of hardworkers that are developing for richness and to become better.
ReplyDeleteOn this picture I can to see, People sales something like clothing, toys, food in the marketplace, this people looking for a better life for survivor, in this place have women, men, and teenagers working hard.
ReplyDeleteI saw and analyzed, in Haiti some people have to buy different things for survivor too, is a form to can to do to eat, to living and pay to bills.
In here we can see a lot of people, poor people, dark race and working hard. It is probably a market, In which there are so many different sales positions, like toys, food and babys stuff. We can also see many people working hard, carrying cases in their head and moving merchandise.
ReplyDeleteIn this photograph taken in Lagos Nigeria there are people walking everywhere, on their heads carrying large pots filled with items to sell such as clothing and food, there are also people who have their establishments to sell items. The smell in this place is nasty because the garbage is everywhere, and also because of the people walking from one place to another. There are a lot of noise and you hear everyone talking and shouting, as well the different genres of music that you hear on every corner. This is obviously a hot place because everyone is dressed in light clothing and are sweaty.
ReplyDeleteThe street of Lagos, Nigeria, has a lot of little markets and they are too close each other in both sides and in front of. When the sun is in his highest point a lot of people are working, selling, buying and walking with some products in their heads. The products of the different little store are very varied, some has a lot of balls with a lot of colors, toys, vegetables and cleaning things but all of them has umbrellas because the weather is dry and sunny. It feels the stress of the sellers trying to get some money for their family. The smell express the effort and all the time that people spend preparing their market for the day. The look of the people is focus in what they want, hoping that the situation someday it will be better.

ReplyDeleteIn a cloudy day at a market the colorful merchandise radiated the place like a rainbow. The narrow street was crowded of people either selling or buying a product. As you walk through it, the smell of corn invaded your nostrils. Then when you look up to the sky, you could see a spiderweb of cable cords going from building to building. Finally, If you look at the right or left everything you need either green, blue ,yellow, or red is in the palm of your hands.
ReplyDeleteThe photograph presents a crowded street of Nigeria, where people are like ants, they are all over the place, walking on differents directions. The street looks like Calle el Sol in Santiago, but less attractive, full of people and people selling things. You can see on people's face everything but a smile, you can perceive their struggle, their hard situation. The only bright colors are from the stuff people are selling on the street or from their clothes, everything else is gray and lack of color as poverty is.
